South Eastern Kenya University led by the Vice- Chancellor Prof. Eng. Douglas Shitanda recently signed an MOU with the Head, Department of Environment and Biodiversity Prof. Dr. Jan Christian Habel from the University of Salzburg (Austria)
Both parties will benefit greatly from the areas of collaboration which are: developing joint research proposals for funding, undertake joint supervisions of students and joint publications, Exchange of research students on a reciprocal basis, Exchange of existing staff, Undertake joint quality assurance benchmarking ventures, Exchange publications, academic materials and support information and Conducting any other relevant activities of mutual interests and benefits.
