Kenya DAAD Scholars Association (KDSA)-SEKU chapter in collaboration with Umma University in Kajiado county have jointly received some seed money from DAAD to organize an International Conference on " “Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development in Dryland Environments”. The theme of the Conference is “Harnessing Dryland Natural Resources for Sustainable Livelihoods in the Era of Climate Change”. The multi-disciplinary conference will be two-phased with a Pre-conference training workshop at SEKU on 19th-20th November 2018 and the actual Conference at Umma University on 21st-23rd November 2018. I take this opportunity to call upon SEKU academic staff to submit abstracts for paper/poster and pitch presentations during the conference. Please, let us circulate this call widely to our other networks and particularly also to our Post-graduate students who will benefit a lot from the training workshop. Certificates of training will be awarded thereafter.
Kindly find attached the Conference call for further details.
