A team from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC), led by the CEO, Mr. Aggrey Oriema visited SEKU on a re-inspection visit to evaluate the progress the university has made towards compliance with the minimum standards for the Bachelor of Science Public Health accreditation.
Accompanying the CEO were his Deputy, Ms. Rachel Kiiru, Prof. Mohamed Karama, Dr. Susan Mambo and Mr. Samuel Afubwa all members of the Council.
The team had made a similar previous visit and the re-inspection exercise comes after the university indicated full compliance with the recommendations made in respect of the technical report for the programme inspection conducted by the Council.
The exercise started with a meeting where the necessary documentation was provided by the Department. Later on, a physical inspection of the relevant laboratories, the library and other physical infrastructure.
