South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) proudly participated in a vibrant career fair held at Jomo Kenyatta Boys High School in Nakuru County. The event, themed “Career Alignment in an Ever-Changing World,” brought together more than 3,000 students, educators, and professionals from various institutions with the aim of guiding learners on academic and career opportunities available after secondary education. The fair also focused on linking students’ passions with suitable career paths and helping them understand the dynamic nature of today’s job market.
During the fair, the SEKU team led by Dr. Grace Mutia and Dr. Faraj Yatundu engaged students through informative sessions on university programmes, career pathways, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities. Learners had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into different fields of study offered at SEKU.
The sessions also created awareness among prospective students on cluster subjects, university entry points, and programme requirements, enabling them to make informed academic and career choices. Students were encouraged to pursue careers aligned with their passions, talents, and the evolving demands of the global job market.
