Duties and responsibilities entail:
i. Managing, delivering and develping of high quality, user focused and cost effective user services within the University library.
ii. Line-managing designated colleagues, contribute to identification of staffing needs, and lead on staff induction, appraisal and development within the library.
iii. Managing the effective deployment of staff to service points and functional areas.
iv. Participating in the delivery of face-to-face and online enquiry services.
v. Developing, managing and participating in the delivery of student induction programmes.
vi. Participating in the delivery of communication skills programmes and the development of teaching support materials.
vii. Ensuring the application of University library policies, procedures and guidelines in all aspects of operations and service delivery.

i. Be a holder of a Masters Degree in Library/Information Science or equivalent from an accredited and recognized university.

The duties and responsibilities entail assisting in:
i. Promoting SEKU sports programming.
ii. Maintaining standards for SEKU sports.
iii. Attending weekly staff meetings.
iv. Collating of information for the preparation of a quarterly sports department reports to be submitted to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, (ARI).
v. Preparing weekly training programmes for all University teams and maintain an attendance schedule for the teams to ascertain training progress.
vi. Preparing reports of the weekly scheduled meetings and archive them in the department’s repository for future reference by the University management.
vii. Ensuring the sports facilities are regularly maintained and marked appropriately for use during training and games competition.
viii. Archiving sports information, records and artifacts in the institution to keep up to date records for future reference in the institution.
ix. Providing recreational and leisure time opportunities for both students and staff to ensure satisfaction of leisure needs and build a spirit of togetherness within the institution.

xi. Providing information to the Senior Games Officer on games equipment that need to be procured or repaired to ensure availability of equipment for sports activities.

ii. Preparing all University contracts, handling all litigation and conveyance matters for the University
iii. Facilitating the development and review of the all Laws and Policies that have bearing on the university mandate.
iv. Managing, reviewing and updating of all the University codes, regulations, rules, guidelines, by-laws and treaties for consistency with each other
v. Managing the Legal Registry.
vi. Providing and interpreting legal information, conducting training and disseminating appropriate legal requirements to staff.
