South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) continues to expand its global partnerships following a recent engagement with Lanzhou University, aimed at advancing academic collaboration and institutional growth.
The SEKU Management team expressed optimism about the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, noting that it presents a valuable opportunity to enhance international cooperation. Key among the anticipated initiatives is the continuous exchange of students, which is expected to enrich academic experiences, promote cultural exchange, and broaden research perspectives for both universities.
Speaking during the engagement, the University leadership underscored the importance of such partnerships in fostering innovation, knowledge sharing, and global competitiveness in higher education. The collaboration is also expected to open up further opportunities in joint research, staff exchange Programmes, and capacity building.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, the Vice Chancellor presented tokens of appreciation to members of the visiting delegation, reaffirming SEKU’s commitment to building strong and mutually beneficial partnerships.
The University looks forward to the successful implementation of the MoU and the realization of its shared goals with Lanzhou University.
